Weekly Consciousness Tune Up…Yehuda Berg 10/28/07-11/3/07

Published on October 29, 2007

Here’s the thought for the week: When the you-know-what feels like it’s about to hit the fan, and you can’t handle the mess - or what potential mess might be coming - know that the mere thought of “I can’t handle this” only sharpens the thorn in your side. It intensifies the pain of the process, possibly even lengthening it.

Remember, the Light force of the Creator is putting your nudgy mother-in-law, your cranky boss, and your loud neighbor all in your face simply to help you transform your nature. Sure, it’s natural to react by saying, “Whoa! This can’t be my package, I didn’t order it.” But whether you remember ordering it or not, it’s yours. And if you try to throw it back to the river, it’s gonna jump ten times harder to get back into your net.

So what do you do? You shout from the mountaintops:

BRING IT ON!

The universe simply wants your eagerness to face the music, rather than for you to listen to the music itself. That’s a hard concept to understand, especially if you haven’t been on the Kabbalah path for long. In kabbalistic terms, we call this eagerness an awakening from below. If there’s an awakening from below, the Light rushes in, like a knight in shining armor, to rescue us from the impending (and usually illusory) danger. But if there’s an awakening from above , i.e., an in-law attack, an allergy attack, an anxiety attack - there’s judgment involved. Judgment - not in the sense of judge and jury, but judgment in the sense of what you give is what you get. And judgment means you get it fast and hard.

As we wade through the waters of the month of Scorpio, remember not to block anything that comes your way. If you embrace your challenges with open arms, you’ll see those challenges will just slip right through.

And remember, the water’s always going to be cold. You might as well jump now.

All the best,

Yehuda

The Path to God Today

Published on October 2, 2007

How do we incorporate the path to God within a harsh, unforgiving, self-serving world? Of utmost importance is not getting caught up in the content of the world and your life. Be the witness while being your highest self and facilitate counterbalancing all of mankind. Getting lost in day to day activities allows the Truth about your earthly journey to be obscured. This is the path to enlightenment and even if it’s not enlightenment you seek, the recognition about the purpose of your incarnation is your highest priority. If you are a student of Dr. David R. Hawkins you may be practicing Devotional Nonduality. Nevertheless whatever your beliefs, views, religion, or spiritual practices are, you can observe heartfelt kindness everyday, revere all life, and experience the love of and for Divinity. Be respectful of others while living within discernment and wisdom in spite of chaos and distractions. Witness without succumbing, practice unrelentingly, and exist within the awareness of the Absolute Truth of God.
