Calibration questions

Published on May 17, 2008

Dear Myswizard,

I have been thinking of terminating the relationship with my husband. The way forward for me appeared clear until I discovered that he calibrated very much higher than me.

I don’t expect you to answer any personal question. But in general…. Should one test oneself? He did the testing with a relative to come up with those calibrations. Is it in fact impossible to be objective when testing oneself?

On a further note, have there been examples of AK or Dr. Hawkins’ work being used manipulatively? If so, can you suggest testing protocol to guard against that? This is very powerful stuff .

Thanks

Hi,

I’m not certain how you test or what you use, but the method in my book, “There Are No Secrets,” is the only way to get True answers without outside “effects” blocking the way to getting a True answer.

I do not test with others, ever. I also do not use the regular methods of self-testing due to the near impossibility of getting a neutral response from your “self.” You would have to calibrate at around 900 to be clear of most egoic issues. Any vested interest in an answer will negate that answer.

Don’t concern yourself with what you or your husband calibrate at. The fact that you care is enough proof that you are integrous. Your relationship with your husband, like any relationship is complex and based on an infinite number of factors. If you are in general alignment with one another and still have love for each other, that is a wonderful place to be. Note, I said in general alignment. We are all being what we are perfectly, at any moment in time. If you give each other space to be what you both are being, as well as what you are becoming, I wouldn’t worry.

Regarding Dr. Hawkins work… Anything as powerful as this work will be maligned by others. It’s the ego rearing it’s head in the form of greed, and self-importance. This work must be used and performed properly, (with high intentions) in order to receive True answers. If it’s used manipulatively, it doesn’t work. It’s as simple as that. God cannot be fooled.

Under Absolute Truth on Myswizard.com I have the parameters for testing, which is simple and works perfectly. I don’t give any energy at all to skeptics, cynics, or those who charge great sums of money to do what you can do for free at home or anywhere, anytime. God wants you to have Absolute Truth available to you. As I always say, there are no secrets, just things you haven’t discovered yet.

Blessings,
Mys

Levels of consciousness and testing

Published on

Some more questions: In reading Power vs Force, I was interested to see shame as the lowest consiousness level. I belong to a group of people who, despite years of excellent work history, were targeted for expulsion or mistreatment in the workplace. We all have trauma with pain, mostly felt as shame and diagnosed as severe PTSD or severe anxiety disorder.

The bullies are all serial bullies with a history of psychologically injuring other employees; and, also using a target’s coworkers to carry out the abuse. However, in the beginning, targets believe they are the problem. There is no way to learn or understand that although it looks like a free choice for these coworkers, it really isn’t. Targets become very isolated, are too embarassed to share what’s happening, and by the time we find them they have been abused for a long time.

When someone feels shame instead of anger, in my experience it is because they are genuinely selfless and unassuming people. Speaking only generally, how do you think these experiences might affect someone who is well over calibration level 200 prior to the abuse? If they are in a state of shame all the time, does it mean they are at level 20 and have to start over again? I don’t see them becoming selfish while going through all this. Also, after they intellectually connect the dots, they still feel a great sense of shame. Can two levels of consciousness co-exist in the same person at the same time?

I’m guessing the same questions might be posed for victims of repeated violence or torture.

Thanks, and you can certainly post these things.

I’m assuming you have a professional leading your group, so you can work through these issues. The level of shame as I define it from the Map of Consciousness, is when the overwhelming process in one’s life is colored by that emotion. However, what goes along with shame is the God view of despising. Since you are interested in this work, you must surely have a strong faith in God. That gives you the qualities of courage, hopeful, willingness, which are all at 200 and above. Once you and others reach forgiveness and acceptance, you are at 350. You are not at the lower end of the scale. That may be for severe cases of lifelong torture. You would be constantly apathetic and hopeless. I don’t feel that from you. As a human being we all have felt some of these emotions. That doesn’t signify you calibrate at that level. You may calibrate at 400 and still feel guilt or anger occasionally. I don’t give personal calibrations, but I can assure you, that you do not need to worry over where you calibrate. We all have an overall level of consciousness, which doesn’t fluctuate but a few points in a lifetime. We are born with it. We may however, have serendipitous epiphanies, which allow us to jump to much higher levels spontaneously.

As I see it you and the others have been shamed only because of the illusion you aren’t worthy in general. People abuse power all the time, and it shows itself as force. You cannot change them so it’s preferable to avoid them, whenever you can. In the workplace, this is a difficult situation because it’s not always feasible to switch jobs.

Don’t agonize about the others since they are exhibiting the willingness and courage to overcome the issues that affect them. Simply because you have all been subjected to lower consciousness (in the form of anger and pride) does not mean you share their levels, also. To give you an example, the vast majority of those who were tortured in the holocaust, calibrated many levels above their captors. They experienced shame and pure evil and still were at higher levels due to their inherent nature.

Being in the field of lower levels may feel awful, but it doesn’t change what you are, only how you feel. It is essential to add surrender (to God) and forgiveness to whatever else is going on in your lives, in order to rise above it all. In Jesus’ words, “Forgive them for they know not what they do.” You can apply that to everyone who is acting erroneously.

Overall it sounds like there’s great spiritual progress happening. This is why we’re here.

God Bless you,
Mys

DR. DAVID R. HAWKINS

Published on May 9, 2008

Biography Summary

Sir David R. Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D. is a nationally renowned psychiatrist, physician, researcher, and lecturer. He co-authored Orthomolecular Psychiatry with Nobel Laureate Linus Pauling that helped revolutionize psychiatry. His national television appearances include The MacNeil/Lehrer News Hour, The Barbara Walters Show, and The Today Show. Winner of the Huxley Award, knighted by the Sovereign Order of the Hospitaliers of St. John of Jerusalem, nominated for the Templeton Prize and honored in the East with the title “Tae Ryoung Sun Kak Tosa” (Foremost Teacher of the Way to Enlightenment), Dr. Hawkins’ honors are vast. His background is detailed in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World, and his work has been acclaimed by many world leaders and Nobelists, including Mother Teresa.

Dr. Hawkins has lectured at the University of Argentina; Notre Dame, Stanford, and Harvard Universities; Westminster Abbey; and the Oxford Forum. In addition, he has been an advisor to Catholic, Protestant, and Buddhist monasteries. He has conferred with foreign governments on international diplomacy and has been instrumental in resolving long-standing conflicts that were major threats to world peace. He is the author of the best-selling trilogy, Power vs. Force (published in 17 languages), The Eye of the I, and I: Reality and Subjectivity, and three additional books, including Truth vs. Falsehood, Transcending the Levels of Consciousness, and Discovery of the Presence of God.

SPIRITUAL BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Hawkins is an internationally known spiritual teacher, author, and speaker on the subject of advanced spiritual states, consciousness research, and the Realization of the Presence of God as Self.

His published works, as well as recorded lectures, have been widely recognized as unique in that a very advanced state of spiritual awareness occurred in an individual with a scientific and clinical background who was later able to verbalize and explain the unusual phenomenon in a manner that is clear and comprehensible.

The transition from the normal ego state of mind to its elimination by the Presence is described in the trilogy Power versus Force (1995), which won praise even from Mother Theresa; The Eye of the I (2001); and I: Reality and Subjectivity (2003), which have been translated and are available worldwide in foreign editions. Reviews (such as those on the Internet at amazon.com) have awarded the works with five stars.

The trilogy was preceded by research on the Nature of Consciousness and published as the doctoral dissertation, Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis and Calibration of the Levels of Consciousness (1995), which correlated the seemingly disparate domains of science and spirituality. This was accomplished by the major discovery of a technique that, for the first time in human history, demonstrated a means to discern truth from falsehood.

The importance of the initial work was given recognition by its very favorable and extensive review in Brain/Mind Bulletin and at later presentations such as the International Conference on Science and Consciousness. Many presentations were given to a variety of organizations, spiritual conferences, church groups, nuns, and monks, both nationally and in foreign countries, including the Oxford Forum. In the Far East, Dr. Hawkins is a recognized “Teacher of the Way to Enlightenment.” (Tae Ryoung Sun Kak Dosa”)

In response to his observation that much spiritual truth has been misunderstood over the ages due to lack of explanation, Dr. Hawkins presented monthly seminars and provided detailed explanations that are too lengthy to describe in book format. Recordings are available, along with questions and answers that provide additional clarification.

The overall design of this lifetime work is to recontextualize the human experience in terms of the evolution of consciousness and to integrate a comprehension of both mind and spirit as expressions of the innate Divinity that is the substrate and ongoing source of life and Existence. This dedication is signified by the statement “Gloria in Excelsis Deo!” with which his published works begin and end.

Weekly Consciousness Tune Up-Yehuda Berg 5/4/08-5/10/08

Published on May 5, 2008

Shrinking Light

The Ari teaches we decrease the Light flowing into our life when we hold onto grudges. Peek beneath the surface of your life and you’ll likely find old ones that have not completely healed. It doesn’t matter whether they’re from far back or in the more recent past, these resentments are blocking your fulfillment, literally.

This is the week to root them out.

According to kabbalistic teaching, we are separated from God by a sequence of ten energy fields known as the sefirot (singular, sefirah). Together, arranged in right, left, and central columns, the ten make up what kabbalists call “the Tree of Life.” As we increase our spiritual competency by ascending each sefirah, we simultaneously increase our spiritual capacity, giving us the ability to connect with and contain more and more Light. In other words, we are able to draw ever nearer to the Creator.

The Ari reveals when we hold grudges, the sefirot shrink, thereby narrowing our gateway to the Light. We begin to experience a shortage of Light, and we look for substitutes. In fact, the Kabbalists explain this as the source of all forms of addiction. It’s our way of trying to get Light, but instead of getting the real thing, we get the sweet ‘n’ low version. We get a boost of Light that doesn’t help grow our desire for more Light; it actually shrinks our desire.

Look at people who are full of grudges, it’s like they live in a perpetual black hole. They have no energy. I am sure you have had your periods in life when you were bitter [hopefully they were short.] It’s like life loses its luster and charm, and we become filled with, well, nothing. That is why during such times we are so needy. Our real need in life, the Light, isn’t being met and we’re on a quest to fill the void.

Kabbalah is teaching us to constantly expand our desire. The last thing we want to do is to shrink our vessel by allowing grudges and resentment to block us from attaining the amazing life we can have.

Why would we ever want to hold onto what is so bitter, when we could have what is so sweet?

Spend a couple of minutes every night this week reviewing your day. Look for those grudges you are still carrying around and ask the Light why they are in your movie. Forgive the people you need to forgive and send Light and ask to be forgiven by those whom you have hurt during the day.

By always connecting to the system of mercy, instead of judgment, you can ensure a steady connection to a huge amount of Light.

All the best,

Yehuda
