Weekly Consciousness Tune Up-Yehuda Berg 8/24/08-8/30/08

Published on August 24, 2008

Think of your life as a circle. You’re standing right in the middle of it. Anything beyond the edge is your discomfort zone, things like public speaking, asking for a raise, starting something new, changing, even fears of spiders and snakes. It’s all there.

The quality and quantity of your fulfillment is determined by how often you expand your circle by taking risks. That’s what it’s all about.

Tell people what you really think. Ask your boss for that long deserved raise. Communicate your true feelings to your spouse. Quit your job and do something you like to do. Go up to a total stranger at a party and say, ‘Hey!’

You know what your fears are. I’m just getting you started.

Don’t know what your fears are? They’re generally felt in the stomach, chest or throat. When you find it hard to breathe, or your stomach is a wreck, or your chest is tight, or you can’t speak - chances are you’re facing a fear [or you ate something funky.]

Facing that terrible feeling, figuring out what’s causing it, and taking action is how you expand your circle. And every time you do it, the Light comes in and helps you to conquer other, bigger, nastier fears!

In five weeks we arrive at the kabbalistic New Year, which, practically-speaking, means a re-infusion of life for the following 365 days. I can guarantee you that the more risks you take now, the greater your new year will be.

That’s why I’m launching a fast-track program designed for you to get the most of Rosh Hashanah. Over the next few weeks, the daily tune-ups will provide you with risk-taking assignments designed to stretch and increase your circle of miracles.

I hope you partake in them.

For this week, begin your preparation [if you haven’t already] by taking emotional, physical and spiritual risks. Right now, as you read this, what’s the scariest thing you can think of [that’s not life-threatening, of course]?

That’s your work for the week. Go to it. Keep asking yourself,

“What risk am I taking right now?”

Be brave. And let me know how it’s going.

All the best,

Yehuda

What Divine Protoplasmic Analysis (Testing for Truth) can do

Published on August 14, 2008

These are merely some of the things that Divine Protoplasmic Analysis (Testing For Truth) can do. The list below is taken from “Benefits of reading Power vs. Force,” Dr. David R. Hawkins 1st book. I personally do not go one day without using this miraculous method for finding what the Absolute Truth to anything is. In “There Are No Secrets,” my second book of the enlightenment series, I explain fully how to use the latest testing method and the parameters which I’ve discovered are the most advantageous way to test through the elimination of false answers. You can use this testing method for anything which calibrates over 200, such as…Finding out who’s lying, if the latest news is biased, which doctor calibrates higher than another, which medication may be in your highest good, what business deal has the best prospects, highlighting written passages on the computer to see what is specifically true or not, sizes and color matches without comparisons, which store has what you’re looking for, personal calibrations of others, what governments and big businesses are up to, which stores are likely to give you the best deals for your money, and (one of my favorites) what others are thinking. This ability is one of the (if not the) greatest discoveries of humankind, and as yet is not widely known or practiced. It is fully available to those who calibrate over level 200 (less than 20% of humanity) and are not skeptical or cynical (which both calibrate under 200). Once you are adept at testing, the so-called secrets of the universe are open to you and an awareness the likes of which you have never realized are revealed!

How one person who calibrates at 500 counterbalances the negativity of 750,000 individuals who calibrate below 200. (One person at level 300 counterbalances 90,000 below 200; one person at 700 counterbalances 20 million below 200).

Prayer for disaster

Dear God,
Thank you for the strength to endure hardships. Bless all those who are suffering and thank you for the opportunity to transcend dire consequences. Bless the earthly angels who give their service to others during grave flood-small.jpgcircumstances, and thank you for the opportunity to eliminate negative karma while creating positive karma under the severest of conditions.

- From “Toleration” by John Bigelow

THERE is a disposition in all of us to entertain an exaggerated sense of responsibility for the consequences of what we do or leave undone, and of individual importance in carrying on the affairs of creation. Not content with simply doing our duty as we understand it and leaving it to the Lord to fashion results, we worry when things do not go as we think they should, and denounce ourselves or our associates for not having done more or otherwise than we or they have done.

We fancy our country is going to destruction when our party or our views do not prevail, and sigh for the sagacious, the patriotic, the holy men of whom death has bereaved us, or for a form of government that seems to us better suited to the needs of our people and time, despairing of the Lord’s power to bring order out of confusion, the welfare of the many out of the selfishness of all; and entirely overlooking the need of the providential abuses we deplore. Much of our solicitude about our family, about the education, training and associations of our children, about the health and worldly provision for the welfare of our kindred, friends, neighbors, and country, is more or less infected with this delusion in regard to our individual power and importance.

The exercise of those affections or motives which are in harmony with Divine order will constrain us to do what we think best calculated to promote the happiness and welfare of our family, friends, country, etc., while the indulgence of those affections which are in conflict with Divine order will dispose us to subordinate the welfare of family, friends and country to our own; to disregard the law which requires us to do unto others as we would have them do unto us, and instead , to try to become a law unto ourselves.

Leave the world to God while attending to your personal consciousness, for if God wanted things to “be” different, it would be so.__ Mys

We are healed of a suffering only when experiencing it to the full.
Marcel Proust

Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction.
Pascal

Like all other problems, the ailments of society arise from causes, and these can be traced in a sequence leading from the manifestations to the underlying roots. The conclusion drawn from this inquiry is highly significant: the causes of social disharmony lie in the human mind and all stem ultimately from craving. Thus craving turns out to be the origin of suffering in more ways than one. It brings about not only continued rebirth in samsara* with its personal pain and sorrow, but also the cupidity, selfishness, violence and immorality that wreck all attempts to establish peace, cooperation, and social stabilty.
Bikkhu Bodhi from “The Great Discourse on Causation:
The Mahnidanna Sutta and its Commentaries” p. 10
(Buddhist Publication Society, 1984-85)

In Buddhist terminology, all thought, action and speech is said to be rooted in one of two types of consciousness — kusala or akusala, wholesome or unwholesome.
H. Saddhatia
from “The Buddha’s Way”

It is mental volition, O monks, that I call kamma*. Having willed, one acts through body, speech or mind.
The Buddha
Anguttaranikaya, III, p. 415

When we talked about gaining the perfect wisdom of a buddha, we should not think that we need to create qualities in ourselves that are not there already, and aquire them from somewhere outside of us. Rather, we should see perfect buddha wisdom as a potential that is being realized.

The defilements of the mind hamper the natural expression of that potential which is inherent in consciousness. It is as if the capacity for unobstructed knowledge is there in our mind, but the defilements obscure and hinder it from being fully developed and expressed.
H.H. The Dalai Lama
from “The Four Noble Truths” (Thorsons 1977)

There is no situation that cannot be ennobled by achievement or enduring.
Goethe

Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.
Confucius

You cannot prevent the birds of sadness from passing over your head, but you can prevent them from nesting in your hair.
Swedish proverb

You will live or you will die.
Both are good.
Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche

Never forget how swiftly this life will be over, like a flash of summer lightning or the wave of a hand. Now that you have the opportunity to practice dharma,* do not waste a single moment on anything else.
Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche
from Tricycle, Fall 1997

There is a way between voice and presence where information flows. In disciplined silence it opens. With wandering talk it closes.
Rumi
from “The Essential Rumi”

(Harper SanFrancisco, 1995)

Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.
Helen Keller

You want to know how to overcome despair? I will tell you. By helping others overcome despair.

How gladly you follow
The words of the awakened.

How quietly, how surely
You approach the happy country,
The heart of stillness.
